DGRI is accepting grant proposals for the Activate Grant program to enliven and culturally enhance public spaces throughout Downtown Grand Rapids. This round of Activate Grants will fund installations to be hosted Downtown during the World of Winter 2024 festival.

The grant program is intended to support projects that engage the community in our public spaces and create vibrancy by elevating and amplifying public art.

Proposed installations must be able to withstand winter weather including cold, rain, sleet, hail, snow and ice.
